We took a Christmas market adventure in December to Copenhagen, Denmark and stumbled upon this nearly hidden colorful square while wondering in search of presents. Gråbrødretorv is lined with colorful buildings dating from 1728 to 1807 and has one big tree right in the middle. I think we found the perfect place to take a break from Strøget, the hectic main shopping street just a few blocks away. There are quite a few restaurants and cafés with outdoor seating perfect for having a beer and people watching. We’ll definitely be finding our way back here in the summer, maybe in July when the square plays host to a Copenhagen Jazz Festival stage.
Have a happy weekend, everyone!
